Delicious meals are simmering in the pots since early morning!
If you are in Kistarcsa on 20 August, do not be surprised if the pots are already simmering in the morning, as the Cock Cooking Festival is being held, where the main character is of course the cock: in soup, stew, or even prepared according to some secret family recipe. You can also enter the competition, but no one will mind if you just taste it. During the day, the organisers will entertain young and old with stage shows, performances by local bands, a playhouse, and an amusement park, and lots of fun awaits you. And in the evening, the experience will be crowned by fireworks. Participation is free.
