Fügeliget

One of Hungary's largest fig farms is located in the Mediterranean embrace of the Zalai-dombság. The Utassy family's nearly 7 hectares of fig bushes satisfy the needs not only of the region, but also of the fig addicts in Budapest. In July and September, the two seasons of fig picking, you can harvest the sweet fruit in fabulous surroundings as part of a “Pick it yourself!” action. You can find out the exact time of the harvest on the Facebook page of “Fügeliget” (Fig Grove), but make sure to agree upon the date with the family beforehand.
