The Bishop's Palace is located next to the Cathedral of Pécs, where visitors can get an insight into the bishop's offices and salons, which have changed in style over the centuries. The rooms contain uniquely decorated Baroque, Biedermeier, Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance furnishings, furniture and paintings, which take you on a real journey through time into the lives of bishops of different eras. As part of the guided tour, you can also visit the Palace garden, including the secret passageway that played a major role in communism, the Texas bar. The exhibition can be visited all year round at pre-announced times, after purchasing a ticket in advance.
