The Queen Festival will be held for the thirty-third time in Balatonszemes from 22 to 26 July. Year after year, this Queen-themed event brings the band’s fans together at the Music Pavilion, where tribute concerts, community programmes and evening parties celebrate Freddie Mercury’s legacy over five days. The 2026 festival coincides with several anniversaries: it will mark the 80th anniversary of Freddie Mercury’s birth and the 40th anniversary of Queen’s legendary concert in Budapest. Performers include the Crazy Little Queen Tribute Band, Full Jovi, The Devotees, Station and Új Babylon, therefore alongside Queen’s hits, songs by Bon Jovi, Depeche Mode, U2 and Omega will also be performed. One of the festival’s traditional events is the commemoration held at the Freddie Mercury bust, which is a highlight of the fan community’s calendar every year.
