‘Hoping’ 2025 Novaj

Hoping: it would be hard to find a more expressive name for a tradition linked to the anticipation of spring. Although the event has been cancelled a few times due to the coronavirus, this year everything is finally in place to continue the tradition in Novaj, Heves County. The organisers are looking forward to welcoming visitors on 17 February: there will be a mock wedding procession, rattling, music, sooting and, of course, lots of homemade delicacies.
