Károlyi-kastély

Imre Károlyi had the Károlyi castle built between Szentes and Orosháza, near the Mágocs Stream, as the centre of his family’s lowland estate. The 41 hectares of park surrounding the building include a gatehouse, a philagoria, two fountains, 18th century Baroque sculptures and a beautiful lake with a boathouse. It is worth taking a walk among the rare oaks and pines – the park is free to visit. The castle is now operated as a social home, but you can also visit the building by appointment.
