The imposing mansion, consisting of 365 rooms, was built upon the order of the Esterházy family in the mid-18th century in Csákvár. The castle was originally built in the Baroque-Rococo style, but during the renovations, it was also given a Classical touch. The building now serves as the institute of the Fejér County St. George Hospital, and its visitable English park includes a number of statues, two special, ornamental marble fountains and trees of Methuselah age.
