Held in the picturesque setting of the Danube Bend, the VéNégy Festival has for years been a unique gathering place for music, theater, and the contemporary arts. The program lineup is extremely diverse; alongside Hungarian favorites, international acts will take the main stages, including the world-renowned French band Nouvelle Vague, whose unique sound is guaranteed to deliver a memorable concert experience, as well as the return of the Dutch group Kraak & Smaak and the Czech brass band Tygroo. Poland will be represented by a young, up-and-coming talent, MIN; several electronic music acts are coming from Slovakia, with Daniu, Hasky, and Makepeace heating up the atmosphere at VéNégy Part.
The best of the Hungarian music scene will come together in Nagymaros, with performances by the Bagossy Brothers Company, Elefánt, Parno Graszt, Dánielfy, Analog Balaton, Bohemian Betyars, Aurevoir., Kolibri, Lil Frakk, FILO, Anima Sound System, Lenkke, Palo Canto, and Obadu—and there will also be a dance party. One of the festival’s most exciting productions—an audiovisual show inspired by *Stranger Things*—will take place on the evening of July 4, when DJ YODA will bring the world of the cult series to life with spectacular lighting and sound effects.
