The Vác Secular Festival will take place once again from 17 to 19 July, filling the town’s historic centre and the banks of the Danube with concerts, theatre performances, family activities and culinary delights over the course of three days. The event has been a key summer fixture in Vác for decades, taking place simultaneously at several venues, including Március 15 Square, the main stage on the banks of the Danube, the Music Pavilion and the Pannónia Courtyard. The programme features pop music concerts, theatre performances, street musicians, a craft fair, children’s activities and a food court. In the evenings, well-known Hungarian performers take to the stage, whilst cultural and community programmes run continuously in the streets of the city centre. The series of events traditionally concludes with a Sunday evening fireworks display.
