In Oroszlány, deep in the forest, hides one of the jewels of the Vértes Mountains. The ruins of a former monastery and Benedictine abbey church in the nature reserve can be visited with a guided tour. The essence of holiness is palpable around the buildings, which hark back to the 1220’s, and it is no coincidence that weddings are held in the consecrated church here.
