Morning at the Kövesdi church ruin
Let's start the day in the heart of the Bozsai Bay, at the Kövesdi church ruin! This medieval masterpiece was built in the 13th century and today we find it in a romantic environment lined with flowers. When exploring the church ruins, we can fly back in time and immerse ourselves in the mysterious world of the past. The combination of natural surroundings and history offers a magical experience. Next to the ruins, the Almás spring flows softly, enhancing the idyllic atmosphere even further. We can safely drink from its water! The church ruins are easily accessible from the direction of Sajkod by car, train or bicycle, from the Aszófő stop.
Head to the watchtower in the morning!
Next, explore the lookout tower! The hike to the lookout is a challenge, but the panorama from above is worth all the effort. The viewpoint offers a wonderful view of the Bozsai Bay, the surrounding mountains and the calm water. It also provides a great opportunity for photography if we want to preserve this memorable moment. From the lookout point, you can take a one-and-a-half-hour round trip from the foot of Csúcs Hill, through the ancient lavender field, straight to the coast. From here, a pleasant walk leads us back to the location of our lunch.
Lunch at the Apáti Restaurant
If you would like a little rest and you are hungry, let's visit the Apáti Restaurant, which is based on local ingredients and traditional recipes, and where you can choose from fresh and mouth-watering dishes.
From the windows, you can admire the panorama of the Bozsai Bay while enjoying the comfortable and friendly environment of the restaurant. It is easy to reach by car, bicycle and on foot, and from here you can easily jump to Tihany or Balatonfüred for further experiences.
