The Botanical Garden in Szeged is open all year round and includes an arboretum, a Japanese garden, a cactus and possum house, and even a lotus pond. In addition to the greenhouse, which houses Mediterranean and subtropical plants, you can visit a farmhouse garden, the tropical butterfly garden, the orchid house and the fern house. Guided tours are available, and seasonal programmes can be requested, too.
