The Sphere Lookout in Balatonboglár is one of the most iconic sights of Somogy county with its panorama overlooking Badacsony. The 15-meter-diameter building, standing on the 60-meter-high Várdomb, sits like a light snow globe in the area overgrown with black pine. The lookout tower itself is a great photo subject, but it is really great with the view of Lake Balaton. The Sphere Lookout is open every day of the year, and it can be visited for an entrance fee.
