If you haven’t yet played in giant pinecones, you can do so on the Balatonfenyves open beach, home to one of the most exciting playgrounds on the south coast, with a huge play castle consisting of stylised pinecones at its centre. The three towers can be accessed by children on ramps, the towers have a rope tunnel, and the exit is provided by two slides – with a great view of Lake Balaton!
