Községi Strand

This is the oldest and most beautiful beach in Balatonberény. Located on the western tip of the southern shore, the beach is one of the most popular places to relax and sunbathe in the area, thanks to its affordable prices and many free services. The sandy beach is a favourite for many, but there is also a separate children’s pool and playground, as well as many other child-friendly programs available. If you don’t want to spend the whole day lazing on the beach in summer, you can take a dip in the adult pool or play ping-pong or volleyball. There is even a teqball and streetball court. The beach is located next to the Balaton cycle path, and there is free parking at both entrances.
