Tatai via ferrata

An easier and safer version of rock climbing is now available in Tata, too. Part of the 200-metre route, designed specifically for beginners, is aimed at children, whilst the other part is an adult route, though even there you shouldn’t expect any major challenges. Educational trails have also been set up at several points along the way, therefore you can learn something new whilst you climb. It’s best to park at the Geologists’ Garden, but the equipment required for the Via Ferrata can only be hired in Tatabánya. The route ends at the Chapel on Kálvária Hill.
