The Birdwatching Centre in Farmos is a popular birdwatching spot in the Tápió-Hajta Region Landscape Protection Area, where experts collect data on the area's nesting and migratory bird population. The Birdwatching Centre is also the area's environmental education and ecotourism base, as well as a centre for voluntary nature conservation work. Now, at the place of the former weir-keeper’s house there is a modern, timber-framed barn, which serves as a demonstration site for bird ringing. The Kékbegy nature trail starts from here, which gives visitors an insight into the ecology, flora and fauna of the reed plots. A 210-metre-long row of planks on the trail leads into the reed plots.
