Szelim-barlang

Tatabánya and the Tatai Basin from a bird's eye view. The huge cave located in the Duna-Ipoly National Park can be reached by car, but if you feel like hiking, you can even walk up from Tatabánya. The 45-metre-long, 18-metre-high cave offers a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape and the Turul statue. Due to its palaeontological and archaeological significance, the cave is highly protected, but it can be visited freely all year round.
