Hungary’s seventh nature park, near Bajót. Less than 40 kilometres from the capital, the visitor centre features several freshwater springs, including not only the country’s first established English garden, but also the marshland nature trail. For some peace and tranquillity, take a walk along one of the pilgrim paths that pass through the park (the Way of the Pearls, the Way of Mary, the Way of St. James) or visit the Eagle’s Mane. Do not expect to see birds at the latter one, as the eagle’s mane is a structural form typical of the clod mountains. The site is also suitable for class excursions and forest school.
