On 19 April, Egerszalók will dress up in Easter decoration again: at the Cave Dwellings, the organizers invite families to a cheerful, traditional event. The Szalók Easter Festival revives the Easter customs of the past, while turning this special holiday into a festive one with entertaining and interactive programmes. The youngest ones can enjoy egg painting, egg lace making, felting, egg painting with stocking technique, petting animals and an exciting egg hunt all day long, where they can get to know Easter traditions while having an adventurous search. They can test their manual skills in vegetable sculpting, while those interested in folk crafts can get an insight into the craft tricks of old times. The programme also has interesting things for adults: wine tasting, gardening demonstrations and traditional programmes complete the festive atmosphere.
