On 6 December, the streets of Hajós Wine Cellar Village turn into a three-dimensional Advent calendar, but instead of chocolate and expensive gifts, you can find warm hospitality behind the doors of the wine press houses. There are more than 1200 wine cellars in the village: whichever one is lit is worth stopping by for a snack and a toast. Locals typically make small snacks, and many houses have gingerbread.
