Saint Martin's Day: New wine festivals and goose dinners in the Villány wine region

Honk-honk-honk! Villány is celebrating the New Wine and St. Martin’s Day again this year: the eating and wine-drinking programme is a guaranteed way to relax.
The first Saturday after St. Martin’s Day is again a celebration of goose and new wine in Villány. On 19 November, a traditional lantern parade will await the delicacy-hungry public, followed by a culinary adventure on Diófás Square. There will be slices of bread with goose fat, roast goose and many other snacks, and, of course, mulled wine, hot tea and punch. Many wine cellars in the wine region host music and dance dinners with wine tasting.
