Nyíregyházi Állatpark

Located 5 kilometres from the centre of Nyíregyháza, the ZOO boasts one of the largest animal populations in Europe. The programme elements include seal shows and spectacular feeding, and you can even try camel sailing. For the fans of the film Madagascar, the Tarzan Trail, inhabited by ring-tailed lemurs, is a must, and if the trek is too tiring, there are also minibuses to travel around the ZOO. There are also educational programmes and a strong emphasis on nature conservation.
