Madárles Kilátó (Csicsergő - félsziget)

The Madárles lookout tower was built a few years ago in Balatonberény, on the Csicsergő peninsula. From the 9.1-meter-high roofed tower of 4x4 meters floor-space, in clear weather, you can see the monadnocks of the northern coast and the hills of Fonyód in addition to the Keszthely Bay. Many species of birds find shelter in the untouched part of the peninsula, therefore, from the wooden structure you can easily observe the bird life of the area, as well as the creatures hiding in the coastal reeds.
