Wine glasses, world music, and a summer promenade at the Balatongyörök pier
One of Balatongyörök’s popular summer events returns in 2026 with a new name and fresh image: the Kultúrfröccs – Meeting of Nations festival will be held from 7 to 9 August on the promenade next to the pier. The event is an evolved version of the former August Wine Promenade, featuring not only Balaton wines but also international cultural programmes, world music concerts, and stage performances. The three-day event is organized around wine, music, and the cultural values of various nations, creating a relaxed Balaton festival atmosphere.
