The first batches of the new vintage are already in the glasses
In mid-September, the harbour, the park, and the foothills of the mountain all come alive at once in Badacsony. The Badacsony Harvest Festival is one of the Balaton Uplands’ most beloved wine festivals, where you can learn about the traditions of the grape harvest, meet local winemakers, and enjoy music and the unique Balaton atmosphere. The first batches of the new vintage are already appearing in the glasses, while the view of the surrounding hills and the lake provides the backdrop. One of the event’s most spectacular programs is the harvest parade, made festive by folk dancers, traditional groups, horsemen, and decorated carriages.
