Hidegfesztivál (‘Cold Festival’)

For the fourth time, the Cold Festival is coming to Zabar, the town regarded as the coldest one in Hungary. Zabar, the hidden treasure of Nógrád county, is now showing its coldness to the world. The town in the upper part of the country boasts the coldest average winter temperature in the country, which is not only reflected in the thermometer but also in the magical beauty of the surroundings. There will be a cooking competition, archery, traditional performances, but the cold atmosphere is guaranteed to be warmed up by a hot mug of mulled wine and the cohesion of the community!
