Puff pastry and doughnut baking competition 2026

At the end of the carnival period, on 21 February, Csömör's favourites will be freshly baked: the locals will take up wooden spoons again in the Puff Pastry and Doughnut Baking Competition. Enthusiastic teams and home cooks will compete in the Petőfi Sándor Cultural Centre to see who bakes the most crispy Puff Pastry or the most perfect doughnut. In the meantime, visitors can enjoy the delicacies on offer with a tasting ticket, but folk dance performances, folklore shows and cheerful music will not be left out either.
