The Őrség Pumpkin Festival is the prominent cultural and heritage tourism event of the Western Transdanubia Region, as well as the largest gastro-tourism event in the settlements of Őriszentpéter, Magyarszombatfa, Nagyrákos and Szalafő. At the centre of the programmes are pumpkins and pumpkin dishes, but there will also be a craft fair and cultural presentations. The festival offers an opportunity to get to know the traditions and flavours of the Őrség in the framework of a truly atmospheric autumn event.
