Rákóczi-vár

Museum and accommodation in Szerencs. Built at the end of the 16th century, the castle houses the historical exhibition of the Zemplén Museum, which presents the life of Zsigmond Rákóczi. In addition, visitors can view a collection of approximately 400,000 postcards, which is considered unique even on an international level. It is worth taking a long walk in the park surrounding the castle and around the lake, which offer breathtaking views in every season.
