The Becsky-Kossuth Mansion stands out spectacularly from its surroundings, with its harmonious proportions, tasseled decorative elements, mansard roof and portico, a fine example of how a wealthy landowning family once lived along the Szamos. Built in the first decades of the 19th century, the neoclassical, late Baroque building houses a thematic, interactive exhibition about the everyday life and celebrations of the wealthy nobility, as well as a taste of the work of the manor house and the everyday life of the manorial servants.
