St. Martin’s New Wine Festival and Goose Feast 2024

For farmers, St. Martin’s Day is the end of the economic year, when they can finally relax a little after all their hard work. The period also includes many folk customs, such as the meticulous and persistent tasting of new wine or the feast on St. Martin’s Day. At the St. Martin’s New Wine and Goose Festival in Szentendre, you can get a taste of all of the above: learn about the customs of this period of the year, devour all kinds of goose delicacies and taste the flavour of new wine. The organisers will also be hosting a number of cultural and festive events.
