On 1 December, the Santa Run in Balatonszárszó will be held for the third time, a perfect combination of sport and Christmas atmosphere. The magical winter landscape of the southern shore of Lake Balaton provides the perfect background for runners to take the kilometres dressed as Santa Claus, Krampus or an elf. At the Central Beach, competitors can start at different distances: the smallest ones can complete the Elf race (400 m), while the more experienced ones can even complete the Santa Half Marathon (21 km), individually or in pairs relay. During the whole day's event, however, running is not the only thing that takes centre stage – family programmes, crafts sessions, Christmas photo corner and mulled wine also await the participants.
