This year Panyola will once again evoke the traditional end-of-winter folk traditions!
The Traditional Carnival returns for the 11th time with a special animal costume parade, Szatmár-style dramatic plays and plenty of authentic backyard-programmes. As part of the carnival fun, a masquerade procession through the small village of five streets evokes the past with banter and playful scenes. Mingle with bears, goats and stork and you can be part of the carnival fun. Folk dancing and folk music will add colour to the event, while gastronomy lovers will be able to treat their taste buds to traditional Szatmár-style dishes.
