The 7.38-metre-high Light Cross stands atop Csándor Hill, offering not only a sacred experience but also a visual one, as it provides an unparalleled view of Lake Balaton. The 15 stations of the Way of the Cross were created by graphic artist András Simon, and the cross is filled with symbols: white represents resurrection, blue represents Mary and the Holy Trinity. The tradition of erecting light crosses began in Grenoble, and in Hungary this sacred symbol is the pride of Vonyarcvashegy.
