Fish soup, game dishes and wines from the Lake Balaton region
On 18 July, gastronomy will once again take centre stage in Balatonkenese, where the Anglers’, Hunters’ and Winemakers’ Day will attract lovers of fish dishes, game cuisine and Lake Balaton wines. Held in Széchenyi Park, the event forms part of the Balaton ÁSZok programme series, which focuses on local flavours and community experiences. A key element of the programme is the fish dish cooking competition, accompanied by wine tasting and an evening-long stage show. Performers in 2026 will include the Gyöngyhalász Band, as well as Gigi Radics and the Black Diamond Big Band.
