Igmándi erőd

Military history slumbering among stones. The Igmándi Fortress in Komárom has been renovated after many years of closure and is now open to visitors once again. The fortress, measuring approximately 300x320 meters, opens its doors to visitors on weekends. We can view Roman stone carvings and explore its approximately 106 rooms. Be sure to check out the transverse ramparts, which served as protection against the effects of fire.
