The streets of Balatonfüred are covered in special lights in the silence of the winter evenings, but on 29 November something even more festive happens: as a continuation of a more than two-decade-old tradition, the Bethlehem sculpture group is erected in front of the Red Church. This festive moment is not only about the spectacle: it is a real, intimate Christmas-waiting event. It is an excellent opportunity to pause in the rush of weekdays to mentally prepare for the holiday, a real community experience that brings together the residents and visitors of Balatonfüred.
