Nagybudmér Lavender Days 2026

In June, the outskirts of Nagybudmér are blanketed in purple from weekend to weekend: as you stroll through the lavender fields, the world slowly fades away, giving way to a peaceful, countryside atmosphere filled with fragrances. On this estate near the Villány wine region, the rhythm of nature dictates the day. You can wander freely among the blooming rows, take photos in the undulating purple fields, or even pick your own bouquet during the “pick-your-own” harvest. Meanwhile, in the background, the copper stills work quietly: on-site demonstrations show how lavender essential oil is produced using traditional methods.
