Pécsi Planetárium, Zsolnay Negyed

The planetarium is the "theatre of the sky", which projects a deceptively realistic view of the starry sky on an eight-metre dome (hemisphere), complete with live performances by astronomers. The primary goal of the planetarium is to disseminate knowledge about astronomy, space exploration and other natural sciences, but also to provide an entertaining presentation of the astronomical aspects and connections of the arts and history. With a variety of themed programmes to choose from, anyone from kindergarteners to pensioners can find a show they like.
