Between April 26 and 27, we will gather again in Gyenesdiás to welcome spring together in the picturesque Nagymező. This traditional outdoor family event is a real time travel, where the customs of old times and the awakening of nature go hand in hand. Exciting programs await us during the two-day holiday: an open-fire cooking competition, the Kitchen of Old Ages, playful contests, excursions, equestrian and archery demonstrations, as well as unique tests of strength, such as the rolling pin throwing and millstone throwing competitions. In addition to the spring welcome parade, hussar and national defense demonstrations, the holiday ends with a campfire, singing, folk entertainment and a round dance at the end of the day. The fair of folk artists and craftsmen, as well as the Magic Sounds Playhouse, will enchant even the smallest children.
