Balaton awakes – and we will be there to see the first waves
When May comes in, Balaton comes to life as well, and you can celebrate the start of the season with a cheerful spring festival in Keszthely. Enjoy the Balaton Season Opening with gastronomy specialties, market stands, handicraftsmen and concerts for four days. The event will start with ceremonial flag raising and wreath throwing, followed by folk and pop music concerts, as well as children programmes. While walking along the stands of wineries, roaster shops and artisan sweets, you can explore the gastronomic treasures of the region, and the side show, funfair and interactive programs will suggest festive atmosphere.
