Everything really does revolve around pumpkins here
On 10 October, Dísz Square in Fonyód will be transformed into a huge autumn playground: you can carve pumpkins, admire pumpkin lanterns, try your hand at crafts, dress up in fancy dress, and the food court will feature pumpkin in a variety of forms. Alongside the family activities, the 4th Fonyód Folklore Festival and Dance House will also be part of the day’s programme. In the afternoon, the Apacuka Band will perform a children’s concert, followed by Tamás Veréb and X Press taking to the stage. The day doesn’t end when it gets dark: a street party follows, and the programme continues in the Retro Party Tent, where Willcox will be playing.
