Head to the ‘Zselici Csillagpark’ (Zselic Star Park) on Midsummer Night!

Tradition has it that on Midsummer Night, life and light triumph over death and darkness, and it is no wonder that the day has been celebrated around the world for years. Midsummer Night falls this year on 23 June (Thursday): if you have a chance to get away from it all in the middle of the working week, head to the Zselic Star Park in the south-west of the country. The observatory, located in the Zselic Landscape Conservation Area, has exceptionally low light pollution, so you're guaranteed a unique way to enjoy the sky alive with points of light, and there are several activities to mark the day.
