A paw parade, a lop-eared derby and a community experience with yapping in the park of Almásy Castle
In the first days of spring, one of the country's most popular dog events, the Dachshund Meeting, will be held again in the city centre of Gyula on 21 March. The event focuses on the charming, small-bodied but big-personality dogs but, of course, it is also about the owners and the animal-friendly community. The programme will start with a gathering at 9:30 a.m., then at 10:00 a.m. a dachshund parade will begin all the way to the park of the Almásy Castle. Here, a variety of dog programmes will await visitors throughout the day: there will be photo spots, a running race and a beauty contest.
