Christmas of animals 2024

One of the most beautiful traditions of the Debrecen Zoo is the Christmas of the Animals, which brings the magic of celebrating animals and people together this year! On 27 December, the zoo welcomes its visitors with a special holiday programme, where the focus is naturally on the animals. You can witness the Christmas feast of the residents, whether it is the capuchin monkeys gorging themselves, the white-handed gibbons' Christmas feast or the party of the African penguins. The special feature of the event is that adopters are granted free entry, thus thanking the year-long support, without which many developments and projects would not have been possible.
