The former Grand Duke's garden shows a different face in every season. In the end of winter and early spring, it offers visitors a unique sight: millions of snowdrops that form impressive white carpets.

The Alcsúti Arboretum is Hungary's most original English park, which is worth visiting at the end of winter for the view of the two and a half hectare field of snowdrops. Depending on the weather, usually from the beginning of February to the middle of March, you can admire 24 varieties of 7 species of snowdrops (often referred to as ‘the flower of hope’) in bloom, including the magnificent snowdrop, the eastern snowdrop, the Crimean or folded-leaved snowdrop and the Levantine snowdrop.
