Arany Days in Nagykőrös 2024

The Arany Days festival in Nagykőrös was created in honour of our beloved poet Arany János, and its purpose is to celebrate the richness of Hungarian culture, traditions and literature. The event combines historical traditions with modern cultural programmes in a unique way, thus offering experiences for several age groups. As part of the festival, literary and artistic programmes, folk music and folk dance performances await visitors who can get to know Hungarian literature and the traditions of the local community. The event has become bigger and bigger over the years, and since 2014 it has been held again under its old name, Arany Days in Nagykőrös, preserving the town’s cultural heritage.
