As the cool, winter days arrive, Kiskunfélegyháza dresses up in festive decorations: between 30 November and 22 December, you are waited with exciting Advent programmes. The Advent period is traditionally a period of community togetherness, preparation and the celebration of love, when countless programmes in the heart of the town offer special experiences both for locals and for visitors. On 6 December, the arrival of Santa Claus in the town brings festive excitement, while in the second half of the month, many programmes - including the IX. Gingerbread Fairytale Town exhibition and a charity Christmas music evening await those interested. The highlight of the Advent period comes on 21 December, with the festive concert by Zséda and the lighting of the fourth candle, which add a true final chord to the town’s Christmas celebrations.
