Let's discover the culinary treasures of Hajdúság, traditional shepherd's dishes, slambuc and lamb dishes on the table.

On 7 September, the Szoboszló Lamb and Slambuc Cooking Joy Day will be organized again at the Hajdúszoboszló Airport. The event is one of the largest gastronomic events in the region, which, following the Hajdú traditions, brings together groups of friends, brigades and associations for a good-vibe cooking session. At the event, traditional dishes are prepared over an open fire in a kettle, such as slambuc, which is a traditional Hungarian dish originating from the Hortobágy region and the territories of the Hajdúság and the main ingredients of which are bacon, potatoes and lebbencs pasta (toasted dry pasta broken into larger pieces).
